Lloyds was founded in 1994 by Tom and Moira Lloyd from an original 16 page digest, Transport and Construction, with a circulation of 2 500, and has grown to 2 publications including Transport and Construction (118 pages) and Your Contact (86 pages) with a circulation of 14 000 each.

These publications are A-Rated by the South African Postal Audit and are posted directly every month to over 14 000 decision makers. 12 500 are distributed in South Africa - 1 000 to Sub Saharan Africa and neighbouring states, namely: Angola, Botswana, Congo, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Somalia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe - 500 are distributed overseas to: Asia, Australia, Europe, Far East, Malaysia, UK and USA.

The publications are distributed mainly to: mines, municipalities, government and semi-government, parastatals, quarries, construction industries, materials handling, transport, contractors, earthmoving and engineering companies.
